Rachael led one of the most challenging revitalization transformations that I have seen in my 35 years of experience in this field. She uses a combination of vision, steady perseverance, and humor to motivate people, businesses, and government agencies. Rachael has been a mentor to many and has selflessly helped any downtown that asked for her help. Her leadership style and knowledge are valuable assets that will help any city looking to transform and revitalize.
I’ve worked with Rachael for more than twenty years and she has really helped us work with our downtown businesses – to help translate between businesses, organizations and the city. She is able to hear business concerns and to help identify the underlying issues driving those concerns. At the same time she has the ability to translate city rules and practices into understandable objectives for businesses.
Rachael is an exceptional leader and commercial district specialist with a wealth of knowledge to support small businesses, Main Street directors, boards and other non-profit organizations.
